DEO Ananya Mittal Directs Restoration of Basic Facilities at Polling Stations

District Administration Actively Working to Ensure Voter Convenience

Following the instructions of District Election Officer Ananya Mittal, the district administration is actively working to restore basic facilities and rectify deficiencies at polling stations in accordance with the Election Commission’s parameters to ensure voter convenience during the upcoming elections.

JAMSHEDPUR – In compliance with District Election Officer Ananya Mittal’s directives, the district administration is diligently working to restore basic facilities and address deficiencies at polling stations across the district, adhering to the Election Commission’s guidelines to ensure a smooth voting experience for all citizens.

In this sequence, work is being done to strengthen the basic facilities by the concerned departments in the municipal areas and rural areas, which is also being monitored by the senior officials of the district.

The District Election Officer has instructed the SDOs of both the sub-divisions, all BDOs, COs, municipal officials to ensure availability of basic facilities in all the polling stations by March 27.

Special attention is being given to important aspects such as ramps for the convenience of disabled voters, adequate arrangement for drinking water, arrangement of chairs by marking the shed for waiting, arrangement of adequate lighting, arrangement of toilets, ensuring arrangement of polling center on the ground floor etc.

As per the instructions of District Election Officer Shri Ananya Mittal, the district administration team is continuously working actively to ensure that voters do not face any inconvenience at the booths.

As per the parameters of the Election Commission, basic facilities are being strengthened in all the polling stations in the district.
