Dashrath Gagrai aims to strengthen rural connectivity, benefiting over two dozen villages

Kharsawan MLA Dashrath Gagrai performed Bhoomi Pujan for three crucial road projects in Kuchai on Saturday, laying the foundation stone for works totaling Rs 5.40 crore. The projects include road strengthening from Sona river to Karalor village (2.5 km) at a cost of Rs 1.25 crore, Doro to Bidrighat (4.46 km) at Rs 2.16 crore, and Aruvan to Chhota Aruwa (4 km) at Rs 1.97 crore.

SERAIKELA – Addressing the gathering at the foundation stone laying ceremony, MLA Gagrai emphasized the government’s efforts to strengthen basic facilities in villages. He stated that the construction of these roads would provide transportation facilities to people from more than two dozen villages, adding that a campaign is underway to repair roads in rural areas.

The MLA also highlighted various schemes implemented by the former Hemant Soren government and the current Champai Soren government, appealing to the people to take advantage of these initiatives. "Every promise made to the public is being fulfilled," Gagrai asserted, reaffirming his commitment to the area’s development.

Interaction with villagers

During the program, MLA Dashrath Gagrai met with villagers from Gagrai village, who shared their problems and concerns with him. The interaction provided an opportunity for the MLA to understand the local issues and work towards addressing them.

Government’s focus on rural development

Gagrai’s foundation stone laying ceremony for the three key roads in Kuchai underscores the government’s focus on improving rural infrastructure and connectivity. By investing in road projects, the administration aims to enhance the quality of life for villagers and promote economic growth in the region.
