Tata Steel UISL Honors Linemen for Uninterrupted Power Supply

Tata Steel UISL commemorated National Lineman Day, recognizing linemen’s pivotal role during the Covid-19 pandemic.

JAMSHEDPUR – The celebration took place at Jusco Green, adhering to the Ministry of Power and CEA guidelines.

The event aimed to appreciate linemen for their essential service in maintaining power continuity.

Tata Steel UISL MD Ritu Raj Sinha and other dignitaries initiated the celebration with a flag hoisting.

A collective safety pledge underscored the commitment to a secure work environment.

VP Singh, Senior GM, led a session on linemen’s resilience in adverse conditions.

The ceremony saw 134 linemen being honored for their dedication by key company and union representatives.

Ritu Raj Sinha emphasized linemen’s critical role in the reliable provision of power.

Umesh Rai, Vice President of the JUSCO Labor Union, extended a vote of thanks to all attendees.

Over 500 employees gathered to acknowledge the hard work and commitment of the linemen.
