Top Salaries and Roles in Consulting and ITES Mark Placement Success

XLRI Jamshedpur and XLRI Delhi NCR campuses have successfully placed their entire 2022-24 graduating class, demonstrating excellence in management education with impressive placement statistics.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Final Recruitment Process for XLRI’s Two-year PGDM programs concluded with all 503 students securing job offers.

The process, conducted in two phases, witnessed a median salary of INR 28 lakhs per annum.

Top percentile salaries soared, with the 10th percentile at INR 51.66 lakhs and the 25th percentile at INR 42.98 lakhs per annum.

The average salary for the batch was INR 29.89 lakhs, with the highest domestic offer reaching INR 75 lakhs from the BFSI sector.

Innovative Recruitment Phases

The Lateral Recruitment Process targeted candidates with work experience, while the Campus Recruitment Process was inclusive of all candidates.

A total of 154 recruiters participated, offering 519 domestic and 1 international positions.

Pre-placement offers were extended to 33.39% of the cohort, indicating exceptional summer internship performances.

He highlighted XLRI’s commitment to nurturing leaders for India’s corporate sector and the validation of their management education by the corporate world.

Diverse Recruiting Sectors

Consulting and ITES were the most sought-after domains, with Consulting firms offering roles to 26% of candidates.

FMCG, Pharma, and Real Estate sectors also showed strong recruitment activity.

The BFSI sector emerged as a significant contributor, with roles in Investment Banking, Asset Management, and Retail Banking being prominent.

Notable Recruiters

Accenture Strategy, Amazon, BCG, and Tata Steel were among the highest offer makers.

New recruiters included Air India, Godrej Properties, and Tata Electronics, enriching the diversity of opportunities available to students.

Emerging Trends

Despite a tech sector downturn, recruitment in ITES, E-commerce, and Online Services remained robust.

XLRI’s distinction in HR studies attracted companies offering a wide range of HR roles, reinforcing its status as a premier HR education institution.

XLRI sources said that the placement success of XLRI’s PGDM programs underscores the institute’s role in shaping future leaders capable of navigating complex business landscapes. This achievement also reflects the high regard in which XLRI graduates are held across various sectors of the industry.
