Champai Soren Vows for a Safer Jharkhand

Jharkhand CM Targets Crime Reduction Ahead of Vote

Champai Soren’s administration prioritizes a crime-free Jharkhand, focusing on law and order before the assembly’s trust vote.

RANCHI – Following Hemant Soren’s detention by the Enforcement Directorate on charges of money laundering, leading to his replacement, the Champai Soren government prepares for a trust vote in the assembly this Monday.

Champai Soren has established a special investigation team to examine the vandalism incident at the JSSC building in Ranchi, reflecting his commitment to tackling crimes, especially those against women.

He has mandated the identification and stringent action against criminal gangs operating from jails, aiming to dismantle their networks and ensure public safety.

The Chief Minister’s directive to enhance surveillance and crime control in major cities like Ranchi, Dumka, Dhanbad, Giridih, Jamshedpur, and Hazaribagh demonstrates his intent to improve Jharkhand’s image nationwide.

By emphasizing the need for ample resources for crime control, Soren showcases his proactive approach to maintaining law and order in the state.

His declaration of making Jharkhand crime-free underlines the government’s focus on ensuring public safety and legal integrity.

The high-level meeting, attended by Chief Secretary L Khiangte, DGP Ajay Kumar Singh, and other senior officials, concentrated on strengthening the state’s law enforcement mechanisms.
