The Jamshedpur FC Reserve Team triumphed over Pandit Ragunath Murmu Club with a 2-1 win at Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium, marking an exciting day in the JSA League Premier Division.
JAMSHEDPUR – An exciting encounter took place at Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium in Telco, where the Jamshedpur FC Reserve Team edged out Pandit Ragunath Murmu Club with a 2-1 victory in the JSA League Premier Division.
PRMC opened the scoring with a goal from Sushil Mardi in the eighth minute, but Jamshedpur FC quickly countered with an equaliser five minutes later.
The game was clinched in the fifty-second minute, when Chawngthu Lalriatpuia converted a penalty to give Jamshedpur FC the lead.
Despite the dismissal of Moirangthem Marjit Singh in the 88th minute, who had been the hero in JFC’s previous game against Tata Motors, the young Men of Steel managed to secure the win.
In another Premier Division encounter at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, Tata Steel won over SERSA 2-0.
Meanwhile, in an A Division (Group B) match at the Tinplate Sports Complex, Adivasi Development and Welfare Association defeated Jharkhand Bayar in a close 4-3 contest.
At Armoury Ground, Urban Services and Chotnagpur FC were locked in a goalless tie in the A Division (Group A).
The JSA League will resume on July 16, with several exciting matches to look forward to across various locations in Jamshedpur.
