Husband Suspected in Bokaro Woman’s Gruesome Murder Case

Bokaro police discover a woman’s body in a locked house, suspect husband in the murder case.

BOKARO – In a chilling incident, the police recovered the body of a woman from a locked quarter of West Pali DVC residential colony under Chandrapura police station area of Bokaro district.

The case appears to be a prima facie murder according to the initial police reports.

The deceased had her throat slit with a knife, and police estimate she was killed two to three days prior to the discovery due to the emanating foul smell.

According to the police, earlier, Ajay Ravidas had assaulted his aunt Gudiya Devi, wife of Pawan Ravidas in Gomia, and had fled on July 5.

Upon receiving this information, the police promptly initiated a search for the accused.

Investigations revealed that the accused’s in-laws lived in Chandrapura, leading the police to his quarter.

On reaching the quarter, which was found locked, the police noticed a foul smell, leading them to break open the door.

Inside, they discovered the decomposing body of a woman, identified as the wife of the accused Ajay.

The circumstances suggest that Ajay may have murdered his wife a few days prior and then and then had assaulted his aunt and after that fled the scene.

Currently, Ajay remains at large while the police continue their search.

The body has been kept in the mortuary of DVC Hospital and is due to be sent for post-mortem examination today.

The ancestral residence of accused Ajay was identified as Sabbi Tand of Gomian police station area.

According to additional information, a dispute between Pawan Ravidas and Ajay Ravidas over a tractor purchase escalated, leading to the tragic events.

The tractor had been confiscated by the financier, deepening the feud between the two men.

It’s in this escalating conflict that Ajay reportedly found an opportunity to attack and fatally wound his aunt Gudiya Devi and investigations of that assault led the police to discover his wife’s murder too.

Police are investigating the case and are looking for the absconding accused.
