Swift action by the police in Golmuri, Jamshedpur leads to the arrest of a bike gang involved in a purse-snatching incident.
JAMSHEDPUR – A biker speeding down the road near Tinplate under Golmuri police station jurisdiction in Jamshedpur snatched the purse of a local woman named Suman Devi and fled the scene.
This prompted an immediate chase by the nearby police patrol who managed to catch the rider.
Upon questioning, he identified himself as Karan Munda.
Following the victim’s statement and Karan Munda’s confession, the police were able to apprehend two other accused individuals, Krishna Patro and Rakesh Bhuiyan, along with their Hero Honda motorcycle.
After interrogation, the trio were sent to judicial custody on Sunday.
