Mango Municipal Corporation felicitates its women staff on International Women’s Day

Jamshedpur: Mango Municipal Corporation organized a felicitation programme on International Women’s Day and honored its women employees.

Mr. Suresh Yadav, the Executive Officer, observed International Women’s Day by honoring and delivering honorary gifts to female employees at the Mango Municipal Corporation office.

To commemorate the event and promote the principles of equality and empowerment, this special programme was organized.

Mr. Yadav asked everyone to work together to advance these important points in 2023.

The Executive Officer also described the significance and history of International Women’s Day at the programme, which was hosted in honor of the office’s female employees.

On the occasion of Women’s Day, the Executive Officer congratulated and rewarded the female employees, and numerous activities were held to commemorate the occasion.

Sweets, cakes, and other delicacies were also provided to the women. Special gifts were distributed to both female employees and participants of self-help organizations.

The Executive Officer stressed the significance of respecting women and how it leads to self-respect during the session.

He also emphasized the significance of women’s rights and highlighted the enormous contributions made by women in all parts of society.

He said that the Mango Municipal Corporation has initiated many government projects targeted at empowering women, such as encouraging women to be self-sufficient and self-employed.

Many programmes have been launched to provide self-employment possibilities to underprivileged women, with a particular emphasis on female participation in these programmes.

The special officer urged the women to persevere and strive for their dreams.

The programme featured female municipal managers, CMM, CO, CRP, and others.

The City Manager Anamika Nisha Bage, CO Nandi Purti, Lalita Laguri, Pushpa Toppo, Urmila Devi, CRP Ruby Singh, Gayatri Nayak, Sheela Kumari, Romani Hansda, Pratima Devi, Mumtaz, Manorama Mahakund, Ruby Gupta, Mamta Deep, Holi Kalundiya, and many women from self-help groups attended the ceremony.

These women were recognised on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
