Jamshedpur: The festival of Chhath concluded in Jamshedpur too with lot of religious devotion and gaiety that has traditionally been the hallmark of this Hindu festival.
Lakhs of devotees thronged differrent river fronts and ghats of the city. And thousands of others, who could not make it to any river or pond due to distance, made arrangements by digging a water body as per conveninence in their locality itself.

With the offering of Arghya to the rising Bhagwan Bhaskar early Monday morning , Chhath, the greatest folk festival of Bihar, Jharkhand and adjoining areas came to an end.
Lakhs of devotees prayed for the happiness and peace of their family by offering arghya to the rising Sun God.
Huge crowds of devotees visited the river fronts and the Chhath Ghats. Everyone was engrossed in Sun worship and offered Arghya to the emerging form of Bhagwan Surya.
Extensive arrangements were made by the district administration at the ghats and safety standards were followed too.
Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav too participated in the puja and herself offered arghya.
She also wished everyone happiness and peace.

Chhath festival concluded peacefully and with devotion in Jamshedpur city and entire East Singhbhum district.
The state Minister Banna Gupta also offered Arghya to the rising Sun and wished for the prosperity of the state.
With his family, he reached Neel Sarovar Chhath Ghat at Kadma and offered Arghya to Bhagwan Bhaskar. After offering Arghya, he also distributed Prasad among all the devotees.
