Jamshedpur: The MLA of Jamshedpur East, Saryu Roy, on Thursday visited the Incab factory and inspected the premises. He was accompanied by around 20 of his supporters. Incab company has been dysfunctional for around 20 years.
Saryu Roy was surprised to find that most of the machinery of the plant have gone missing.
Although the politics of Jamshedpur East has been centred around Incab somehow, for more than 20 years, yet nothing has been done to ensure that the company re-opens in real earnest.
Incab issue has been raised several times at the political level. During the last Assembly elections too Incab issue was raised in a big way. Saryu Roy had also promised that he would take initiative in ensuring that steps are taken to get the company re-opened. The issue of Incab is still sub-judice.
Saryu Roy’s visit and inspection of the company premises as brought the Incab issue back to focus.
Saryu Roy found that the machinery and parts inside the plant are almost missing. He said that a high level enquiry should be instituted to find out truth behind this pilferage. He said that workers of the company have been deceived.
Meanwhile, Saryu Roy’s surprise visit even surprised the security personnel deployed at the gate.
