No corona death in Jamshedpur on 4th consecutive day, total stable at 352

61 new cases on Saturday, 50 cured, total active cases now 1,201

Jamshedpur: Coronavirus has certainly been showing signs of a definite decline in the city as it did not cause any death in Jamshedpur and East Singhbhum district on Saturday. In fact, since Thursday last no one has died of coronavirus and today was the fourth consecutive day of zero death due to the virus. The total death toll for the district continues to stay at 352.

Official data are showing improvements on almost all parameters. On Saturday, only 61 new cases were detected in the district and with this the total number of coronavirus infection cases till date has reached 15,838.

According to official data, on Saturday, 50 patients of coronavirus were also cured and discharged from hospitals and home quarantine taking the total number of recovered patients to 14,285 in the district.

For now, the number of active cases in the district is 1,201, which is much lower than the level a few weeks back.

According to official data, a total of 2,93,267 samples have been tested in East Singhbhum district till date. The number of positive cases is 15,838. The number of samples testing negative is 2,77,429.
