Jamshedpur: A special and extensive one-day Covid-19 test campaign would be carried out on Monday, August 31, 2020 in East Singhbhum. The aim is to identify maximum number of asymptomatically positive persons and to isolate them to prevent the spread of Corona.
A number of Covid-19 special test camps would be set up in different parts of the district, including Jamshedpur township.
A detailed list of the sites for different parts of the city have been notified by the East Singhbhum administration.
These camps would be set up at Birsanagar zone No. 1B, Mango, Lions Club, Baliguma, Roopnagar Sonari, Ramjanam Mangar Kadma, Bagunhatu, Laxminagar, Birsanagar Zone No. 5, Govindpur and Sidhgora.
The administration has appealed to the people ot come to such camps in large numbers and get themselves tested and help in containing the spread of Covid-19.
The order issued by the NUHM nodal officer dated August 29, 2020 has asked all the employees to ensure that the targets of the drive are achieved.
The Health Minister Banna Gupta too has appealed to the people to make use of these free Corona test camps and get themselves and family members tested.
