Another Jharkhand son, Ganesh Hansda from Bahragora, martyred in India-China border clashes

Jamshedpur: Ganesh Hansda, an Indian Army soldier from Bahragora, was also among those 20 Indian soldiers who were martyred in the scuffle with Chinese forces in Galwan Valley Monday night.

The martyred soldier Ganesh Hansda hailed from Bansda Kosafalia village under Chingra panchayat in Baharagora block of East Singhbhum district, around 100 kms from Jamshedpur.

This brave soldier from Jharkhand had joined the Indian Army only two years back at the age of 21. And he sacrificed his life in the defence of the nation at 23.

Martyred soldier Ganesh Hansda’s father Subda Hansda is a farmer, while mother Kapra Hansda is a housewife. His elder brother Dinesh Hansda is also engaged in farming.

Martyred solider Ganesh Hansda was unmarried.

Indian Army headquarters have sent a communication to the family with this tragic news.

The news has sent a wave of shock and grief among the people of Baharagora block.
