Voter Awareness Campaign in Full Swing Across East Singhbhum District

SVEEP program and awareness drives conducted at various levels to encourage voter participation

The voter awareness campaign in East Singhbhum district is at its peak, with the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program being run at different levels and awareness drives being conducted to encourage citizen participation in the upcoming elections.

JAMSHEDPUR – The district administration is leaving no stone unturned in its efforts to achieve the target of 100 percent voting by organizing various activities at the Gram Panchayat level.

The Booth Awareness Group, formed to conduct a large-scale voter awareness program in the district, has been actively campaigning at the Panchayat level in all 11 blocks.

The group members have been motivating the people of the district to exercise their right to vote on May 25, the designated polling day.

To make the voter awareness campaign more engaging and appealing, the Booth Awareness Group has been employing creative methods such as Mehndi, Rangoli, and Prabhat Pheri, along with administering the Voter’s Oath.

These activities aim to create a festive and inclusive atmosphere while emphasizing the importance of participating in the democratic process.

The district administration’s multi-pronged approach to voter awareness, which includes the SVEEP program and the efforts of the Booth Awareness Group, reflects their commitment to ensuring maximum voter turnout and strengthening the democratic fabric of the region.

Booth Awareness Group’s Panchayat-Level Campaign

Members of the Booth Awareness Group, tasked with conducting a large-scale voter awareness program in the district, have been diligently campaigning at the Panchayat level across all 11 blocks.

Their primary objective is to motivate the people of the district to exercise their franchise on May 25, the scheduled date for polling.

To make the voters aware of their right and responsibility to vote, the group members have been employing various creative and engaging methods.

These include applying Mehndi designs, creating Rangoli artwork, organizing Prabhat Pheri (early morning processions), and administering the Voter’s Oath.

By bringing the voter awareness campaign to the grassroots level and interacting directly with the community, the Booth Awareness Group is playing a crucial role in the district administration’s efforts to achieve 100 percent voter turnout.
