Indian Red Cross Society forms Voter Awareness Forum ahead of general elections.
The Indian Red Cross Society, East Singhbhum, has established a Voter Awareness Forum to educate citizens on the importance of voting, following directives from the District Administration.
JAMSHEDPUR – The forum’s launch was announced during an eye camp at Ram Manohar Lohia Nethralaya, with an emphasis on preparing for the upcoming general elections on 25th May in the Jamshedpur parliamentary constituency.
Bijay Kumar Singh, the forum’s president, highlighted the importance of being an informed voter and ensuring one’s name is on the ballot list and possession of a Voter ID card.
The initiative aims to mobilize voters, emphasizing the significance of participating in the democratic process and using one’s franchise responsibly.
Secretary Chandramohan Singh called on the community to spread voting awareness among all eligible family members.
Notable participants in the campaign include forum leaders, Red Cross members, and numerous eye camp attendees, demonstrating a collective commitment to democracy.
