Maximum Rounds in Chatra and Koderma, Minimum in Khunti

RANCHI – Chief Election Officer K. Ravi Kumar announced that the counting of votes for Jharkhand’s 14 parliamentary constituencies will take place at 14 centers.
All preparations are finalized, and the counting will commence at 8 am on Tuesday.
Postal ballots will be counted first, followed by EVM votes.
Kumar emphasized that, per Election Commission rules, no communication devices are allowed inside the counting centers.
Agents who leave the campus will not be permitted to re-enter.
Addressing the media at Nirvachan Sadan, Dhurwa on Monday, Kumar mentioned the weather forecast, which predicts temperatures around 44 degrees in Palamu and Chatra during the counting. Rain is expected in Kolhan in the afternoon.
He detailed that the maximum number of counting rounds will be in Chatra and Koderma with 27 rounds each, while Khunti will have the minimum with 16 rounds.
Other constituencies will have varying rounds: 26 in Godda, 25 in Hazaribagh and Dhanbad, 24 in Dumka and Singhbhum, 23 in Rajmahal, 22 in Palamu, 21 in Jamshedpur, 20 in Ranchi and Lohardaga, and 19 in Giridih.
For postal ballots, 465 tables have been set up, and EVM votes will be counted on 1429 tables.
Additionally, the Gandey assembly by-election vote counting will be conducted in 24 rounds.
