JAMSHEDPUR – A fogging worker was found dead inside his workplace in Bistupur, raising concerns over rising suicide cases.

The incident occurred in Bistupur area on Wednesday morning. The victim was identified as Meghu Mukhi, aged 45.

He lived in Dhatkidih Harijan Basti. He worked at a public health center in Northern Town.

According to reports, he left home for duty as usual. However, he allegedly hanged himself shortly after reaching work.

Meanwhile, other staff members discovered the body upon arrival. Panic spread quickly inside the health center premises.

Moreover, local residents gathered outside after hearing the news. Police were informed immediately about the incident.

On the other hand, officers reached the spot and removed the body. It was later sent for post-mortem examination.

However, no suicide note was found at the scene. The reason behind the act remains unclear so far.

Meanwhile, police began questioning family members and coworkers. Investigators are trying to identify possible triggers.

In contrast, another suicide was reported a day earlier. A woman died by hanging in the Sonari area.

Moreover, such repeated cases have increased concern in Jamshedpur. Experts often link such incidents to stress and financial issues.

Meanwhile, officials stated that mental health awareness remains limited. Authorities continue to examine patterns behind such cases.
