Two Stolen Hyva Seized in MGM Garage Raid

JAMSHEDPUR – Police uncovered a vehicle theft racket in MGM area and seized two Hyva trucks during a raid near NH-33.

The raid took place in the MGM police station limits. It was conducted near Bajrang Parking along NH-33.

Police acted on a specific tip-off. Moreover, the information pointed to an organized theft network.

According to officials, a man named Guddan operated the garage. He allegedly altered stolen Hyva trucks there.

Vehicles were repainted to look new. Meanwhile, engine and chassis numbers were being modified.

Fake documents were prepared for resale. In addition, forged registration details were created.

Officer-in-charge Sachin Das confirmed the operation. However, suspects fled before police arrived.

Two Hyva trucks were recovered during the search. Moreover, tampering work was still underway.

Preliminary checks revealed forged documents. In contrast, original identification details were erased.

An FIR has been registered at MGM police station. Meanwhile, raids are ongoing to trace absconding accused.

Police are identifying others linked to the network. Moreover, further action is being prepared.

Vehicle theft cases have surfaced repeatedly in Jamshedpur. Recently, officers reported a vehicle theft gang bust.

Earlier, interstate theft network was also exposed. Meanwhile, theft cases were cracked in Sitaramdera and Bagbera areas.

Authorities said investigations are continuing. In addition, technical verification of seized vehicles is underway.
