JAMSHEDPUR – A vacant house in Bada Govindpur under Parsudih police station was burgled, with jewelry and valuables worth lakhs reported stolen.

The incident occurred in Khakridihpada under Parsudih police station limits. The house belongs to Babita Singh.

However, she has been staying in Delhi for a month. The theft was discovered on Thursday morning.

Meanwhile, she informed her nephew Amit Singh by phone. He serves as BJP district social media in-charge.

Moreover, Amit Singh alerted the local police station immediately. Officers reached the house and began inspection.

According to the family, gold and silver ornaments were stolen. Chains, earrings and other valuables are missing.

In contrast, the exact value is yet to be assessed. The family said the assets were earned over years.

Meanwhile, Babita Singh is expected to reach the city on Saturday. A formal complaint will be lodged afterward.

Local residents expressed concern over rising theft cases. They demanded intensified patrolling in the locality.

Earlier, a major theft in Parsudih shocked residents. Another case involved jewelry theft at Parsudih flat.

Similarly, police solved a Parsudih theft case earlier this year. Vehicles were also stolen in Haludbani Parsudih.

Authorities assured strict action in Jamshedpur. Investigation is ongoing to trace the culprits.
