TMH Nursing College Holds Graduation for 100 Students

JAMSHEDPUR – College of Nursing at Tata Main Hospital held a graduation ceremony for Basic B.Sc. Nursing students on December 19, 2025.

The event took place at the College Auditorium. Prof. Anjila Gupta attended as chief guest. Moreover, she serves as Vice Chancellor of Kolhan University.

Students presented a Jharkhand folk dance performance. The traditional welcome marked her arrival on campus. However, officials from Kolhan University also attended the ceremony.

Dignitaries from other Jamshedpur universities were present. College Governing Body members participated in the event. In addition, Management Committee members joined the celebration.

Senior leadership from Tata Main Hospital attended the ceremony. One hundred nursing graduates received their degrees. Furthermore, parents witnessed their children’s achievement with pride.

Prof. Gupta addressed the gathering during the ceremony. She highlighted nurses’ critical role in healthcare system. Besides, she spoke about expected professional qualities from graduates.

Ethical practices were emphasized in her speech. Compassion in nursing roles was discussed as essential. Moreover, four batches of students completed their education together.

The Vice Chancellor personally conferred degrees on graduates. Dignitaries and parents remained present throughout degree distribution. However, the ceremony marked completion of rigorous nursing education.

The nursing college has established strong academic reputation. Tata Hospital regularly organizes awareness programs for healthcare. Moreover, medical students from the city have excelled in conferences. The medical college conducts specialized healthcare workshops regularly.
