AJSU Says Ruling Party Has No Moral Right to Seek Votes in Ghatshila

Sanjay Mehta Accuses State Government of Failure and Betrayal of Public Trust

Key Points:

  • AJSU claims ruling alliance failed on all promises
  • Sanjay Mehta questions job and unemployment benefit pledges
  • Party urges voters to support NDA candidate Babulal in Ghatshila

JAMSHEDPUR – The AJSU Party has sharply criticized the ruling coalition, claiming it has lost its moral right to seek votes in the upcoming Ghatshila Assembly election.

Addressing a press conference, AJSU Central General Secretary Sanjay Mehta alleged that the current state government has failed on every front. He said the administration betrayed public trust and must explain why it acted only after High Court reprimands in municipal matters.

He asked the government to clarify what happened to its promise of five lakh jobs. Moreover, he questioned when unemployment benefits and a proper recruitment policy would be implemented. Mehta also accused the government of corruption under the “Maiya Yojana” and inquired when local policies and 26,000 vacant teacher posts would be filled.

According to him, the ruling leadership has proved inefficient and unaccountable. Therefore, he appealed to Ghatshila voters to question the government and wisely vote for the NDA candidate, Babulal, to strengthen the alliance’s tally.

In a scathing attack, Mehta referred to JMM as the “Jharkhand Loot Khasot Party.” He accused the ruling party of giving a free hand to a person facing around 16 criminal cases, including land grabbing, extortion, riots, and spreading communal tension.

He further alleged that the individual, treated as a “government son-in-law,” roams freely across the state and disturbs peace wherever he goes. “People must identify such impostors whose aim is to mislead innocent voters and trouble NDA candidates,” he said.
