Three More Arrested in Kadma Robbery Case

Police Nab Trio Linked to Rs 20 Lakh Loot at Ramnagar Businessman’s House

JAMSHEDPUR – Police have arrested three more suspects in connection with the Rs 20 lakh robbery that took place at businessman Deeparaj Das’s residence in Ramnagar under Kadma police station area on October 9.

According to Kadma police, the arrested accused are Guddu Paji alias Shravan Kumar Nirmalkar of Machhua Basti in Parsudih, Vijay alias Vishal Savaiya of Somai Jhupdi in Bagbera, and Shivam Kalindi of Narsinghgarh in Dhalbhumgarh. All three were sent to judicial custody on Thursday.

Kadma police station in-charge Pravesh Chandra Sinha said the robbers had looted jewellery and cash worth nearly Rs 20 lakh from the house. He confirmed that the bullet motorcycle used in the crime has also been seized.

Police had registered an FIR on October 11, following which a special investigation team (SIT) was formed under the SP’s instructions. Acting on leads, the team conducted multiple raids and succeeded in arresting the trio.

Earlier, five other accused had already been arrested and sent to jail. With these three fresh arrests, police say the case is now almost fully solved. In total, eight people were involved in the robbery, officials added.
