JAMSHEDPUR – The Ghatshila assembly by-election has transformed into a high-stakes prestige battle with both ruling JMM and opposition BJP showcasing their political might during Friday’s nomination filing.

Congress state president Keshav Mahto Kamlesh joined the filing ceremony. RJD’s Satyanand Bhokta also attended the proceedings. Furthermore, CPI’s Mahendra Pathak and other alliance leaders participated.

The JMM displayed coalition unity through this exercise. However, the party emphasized its electoral strength simultaneously.

Star campaigners will enter the constituency soon. Multiple public rallies are planned ahead. Besides, ground-level strategies will intensify the electoral contest further.

The nomination day transformed into political theatre. Both sides mobilized thousands of supporters effectively. In contrast, the actual voting will determine public sentiment.

Coalition partners stood firmly behind JMM’s candidate. The united front displayed organizational coordination. Meanwhile, the BJP showcased its independent electoral machinery strength.
