Kulbinder Singh Accuses Bhagwan Singh of Misusing Position

JAMSHEDPUR – Qaumi Sikh Morcha national president and advocate Kulbinder Singh leveled strong allegations against Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee head Bhagwan Singh, accusing him of disregarding constitutional values and public morality.
Kulbinder Singh claimed Bhagwan Singh has repeatedly changed committee resolutions behind closed doors despite their approval in general meetings. He said the much-discussed “one person, one kitchen, one vote, one constitution” resolution has been discarded, lying neglected near Sakchi Gurudwara.
He further criticized Bhagwan Singh for double standards, stating that while the committee mandated simple meals during rituals, the wealthy continued lavish practices. “In Sonari, even two separate notices issued by the committee bore different signatures of Bhagwan Singh, raising doubts over authenticity,” he added.
Kulbinder Singh also questioned Bhagwan Singh’s continued tenure as head of Mango Gurudwara for eight years, despite rules allowing only two terms of three years each.
He pointed out that former leader Tara Singh had to step down for addressing a woman as “darling,” while Bhagwan Singh faces a pending rape case in district court. “If he is truly honest, he should resign and return only after acquittal. The community will then welcome him back with music and celebration,” Kulbinder Singh said.
