Former BJP District President Dinesh Kumar Inaugurates Three-Day Exhibition

JAMSHEDPUR – Chhattisgarhi Cultural Committee Women’s Wing organized a three-day rakhi fair featuring local handicrafts and cultural exhibitions in Sonari area.

Former BJP district president Dinesh Kumar inaugurated the event. The ceremony took place at the committee’s auditorium. Kumar lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the opening.

BJP leader Khemlal Chaudhary attended as special guest. However, CP Committee Middle School general secretary Parmanand Kaushal also participated. Social worker Sukrit Das Manikpuri joined the gathering.

Committee president Krishna Prasad was present during inauguration. Meanwhile, Lakshmi Sahu presided over the function. General secretary Jaya Sahu conducted the proceedings.

Kumar addressed the gathering about rakhi’s significance. He emphasized the festival celebrates sibling relationships. Moreover, the fair brings different communities together.

“Rakhi fair promotes cultural understanding among diverse groups,” Kumar stated. Furthermore, it provides economic opportunities for local women. The event supports traditional crafts and businesses.

Lakshmi Sahu explained the fair’s commercial aspects. Local women vendors display handicrafts and gifts. Additionally, sarees and suits are available for purchase.

The exhibition boosts local economic activity. In contrast, it also strengthens community bonds. Besides, the fair serves as a cultural gathering.

Jaya Sahu announced the closing ceremony details. MLA Purnima Sahu will attend as chief guest. The event concludes on Sunday, July 3.

A mehendi decoration competition was organized Saturday. Furthermore, various cultural activities are planned throughout. Multiple stalls showcase different traditional items.

Khemlal Chaudhary, Parmanand Kaushal, and Sukrit Das addressed participants. Krishna Prasad also spoke to the gathering. The speakers highlighted women’s empowerment through such events.

Hundreds of women participated in the fair. Notable attendees included Hema Sahu and Bedu Bai. Devki Sahu, Neetu Sahu, and Vedvati Devi were present.

Saraswati Devi, Gitanjali Sahu, and Kanta Singh attended. Uma Sahu, Anju Shivanshi, and Vidha Sahu participated. Other prominent women included Sunita Sahu and Jyoti Sahu.

Madhuri Sahu, Surja Devi, and Shakuntala Sahu joined. Pramila Sahu and Vamin Kanwar were among attendees. The fair attracted diverse participation from local communities.
