JAMSHEDPUR – XLRI has announced revised XAT 2025 cutoffs, introducing lower thresholds for female candidates across programs.
The Business Management program maintains high standards for male candidates. However, female applicants receive a significant reduction.
“This initiative promotes gender diversity in management education,” noted an education expert. Additionally, non-engineering candidates have modified criteria.
HR Program Criteria
The Human Resource Management program shows similar gender considerations. Meanwhile, sectional cutoffs vary across categories.
The institute expects to interview around 4,500 candidates. Furthermore, GMAT-based admissions continue separately.

XLRI has maintained consistent standards for academic excellence. However, the new policy emphasizes inclusive education.
The institute plans more diversity initiatives next year. Meanwhile, special provisions exist for underprivileged communities.
