CPI Holds 35th Unit Conference in Jamshedpur, Jwala Prasad Singh Takes Charge

JAMSHEDPUR – The Communist Party of India (CPI) organized its 35th unit conference on Sunday at Rahargora, drawing a large number of local workers and supporters. During the event, Jwala Prasad Singh was appointed as the new branch secretary, while Ranjan Pandey assumed the role of assistant secretary.

District Secretary Ambuj Thakur addressed the gathering, highlighting the CPI’s decades-long efforts in advocating for workers’ and common people’s rights. “For the past 35 years, the CPI has been a driving force in this region, fighting for justice and equality,” he stated. Thakur also announced plans to bolster the branch’s membership, aiming to mobilize collective action to protect labor rights.

Commitment to Strengthen the Organization

Newly elected secretary Jwala Prasad Singh pledged to work in alignment with the party’s principles. “Our focus will remain on organizational growth and achieving the party’s objectives through dedicated efforts,” he said. Similarly, Assistant Secretary Ranjan Pandey emphasized addressing workers’ issues and advancing the CPI’s agenda to tackle exploitation and inequality.

A Historic Step for the Party

The conference witnessed active participation from key CPI members and supporters, who regarded the event as a milestone in the party’s journey. Discussions centered on reinforcing long-standing goals, such as defending labor rights, combating exploitation, and uplifting marginalized communities.

The conference concluded with a resolution to continue advocating for social justice and strengthening the party’s presence in the region.
