JAMSHEDPUR – A 10-year-old boy, Dheeraj Kumar, lost his life after falling from a boundary wall in Shankosai Road No. 4, Ulidih, on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred while Dheeraj, who was mute, was playing outside his home.

Around 9 a.m., Dheeraj climbed a boundary wall during his play and tragically fell, sustaining severe head injuries. His grandfather, Arjun Yadav, recounted that blood started pouring from his mouth and nose immediately after the fall. The family rushed him to MGM Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Despite further attempts at TMH, he was pronounced dead there as well.

Family Grieves Over Irreplaceable Loss

Dheeraj was the elder of two siblings. His father, Virendra Yadav, a tempo driver, and the rest of the family are in deep shock and mourning. Arjun Yadav informed the Ulidih Police, who promptly arrived at the scene and initiated procedures.

Police Actions and Postmortem

The police have conducted the postmortem and handed over the body to the grieving family. The incident highlights the dangers of unsupervised play in risky environments. Meanwhile, the family is left inconsolable over the loss of their beloved child.

Appeal for Awareness

Authorities urge parents and guardians to ensure safer play areas for children to prevent such tragedies in the future.
