JAMSHEDPUR – The Akhil Bharatiya Buddhijeevi Manch presented its annual calendar and a seven-point demand letter to MP Vidyut Varan Mahato on Sunday.

The event at Rajasthan Dharmshala saw participation from dignitaries including Ghatshila College Principal Dr. Ravindra Kumar Chaudhary.

Key Demands

Forum Secretary Rai Shashi Bhushan Rai Sharma presented crucial public demands. The restoration of senior citizens’ railway concessions topped the list.

Moreover, the memorandum emphasized the need for a direct rail link to Ranchi. The forum also requested updates on the city’s airport project.

Senior Citizens’ Welfare

The organization highlighted concerns about elderly care. “The current pension amount of Rs 500-1000 is inadequate,” stated a forum member.

Furthermore, the MP assured to address these issues promptly. He promised to take up the matters with appropriate authorities.
