JAMSHEDPUR – State Health Secretary Ajay Kumar Singh, accompanied by a 10-member team, visited Jamshedpur on Thursday to inspect the newly constructed 750-bed facility at MGM Hospital.

During the inspection, Singh emphasized that the hospital would become fully operational by January 15. He also confirmed that advanced treatment for cancer, heart, and neurological conditions would be available at the new facility.

Addressing existing issues

The Health Secretary pointed out certain shortcomings in the hospital infrastructure and directed officials to resolve them promptly. Additionally, he instructed for four deep borewells to be installed within the hospital premises to eliminate water supply issues.

Singh reiterated that the new facility will significantly enhance healthcare services in the region, providing advanced medical treatments to thousands of patients.
