DHANBAD – Criminals unleashed a series of gunshots in Barwa Adda under the Kurmidih area, critically injuring Teli community leader Chetan Prasad Mahto. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital for treatment, where his condition remains serious.

The incident occurred near Mahto’s cement shop at Kurmidih Mor. Eyewitnesses reported that bike-borne assailants stopped a short distance away. They approached on foot and fired four to five rounds at close range, leaving Mahto seriously injured.

Following the shooting, a letter allegedly from gangster Prince Khan’s aide, Major, went viral on social media. The letter claimed responsibility for the attack, warning that those failing to “manage Chhote Sarkar” would meet a similar fate. It also threatened land businessmen openly.
