JAMSHEDPUR – Under the aegis of DAV Centre for Academic Excellence, New Delhi, a two-day online capacity-building program was conducted for educators from seven schools in Jharkhand A Zone’s Jamshedpur division. The event, hosted by DAV NIT Jamshedpur, saw active participation from 231 teachers through virtual sessions.
Building Collaborative and Inspiring Classrooms
Keynote speaker O.P. Mishra encouraged teachers to maintain a cheerful demeanor in classrooms. "A teacher’s smile can make students look forward to the class," he remarked, urging educators to create a collaborative and positive environment. Mishra also inspired teachers to strive for personal and professional fulfillment while contributing to making their institutions exemplary.

The program featured subject-specific training led by expert master trainers, providing participants with practical teaching strategies and valuable insights. Educators from various schools, including Pushpanjali Nayak of DAV Guwa, librarian Roshan Kumari, Sanskrit teacher M.K. Shastri of DAV Lalpania, and music teacher Rohit Kumar Pathak, shared their reflections on the program’s impact during the closing ceremony.
