JAMSHEDPUR – In a commanding performance at Kolkata’s Salt Lake Stadium, Mohun Bagan Super Giant (MBSG) defeated Jamshedpur FC 3-0 in an Indian Super League (ISL) match on Saturday.

Scottish center-back Tom Aldred initiated the scoring in the 15th minute, capitalizing on a set-piece opportunity.

Winger Liston Colaco extended the lead just before halftime, netting a goal in the 45+2′ minute.

Australian forward Jamie Maclaren sealed the victory with a strike in the 75th minute.

Winger Manvir Singh delivered an exceptional performance, providing assists for two of the three goals and showcasing remarkable skill on the right wing.

His contributions earned him the Player of the Match accolade.

This triumph propels MBSG to the top of the ISL standings, amassing 17 points from eight matches, comprising five wins, two draws, and one loss.

Jamshedpur FC, with four wins and four losses, remains in seventh place with 12 points.

A local football analyst noted, "MBSG’s cohesive play and strategic execution were evident throughout the match, reflecting their top-table position."

The victory underscores MBSG’s strong form this season, as they continue to assert dominance in the league.
