JAMSHEDPUR – Union Minister Annapurna Devi held a major rally in Jamshedpur East today in support of BJP candidate Purnima Das, addressing an audience of thousands of women at the Agri Transport Ground.

The event, named *Nari Shakti Mahila Sammelan*, was organized to focus on women’s empowerment and address concerns about safety and security in Jharkhand.

Opening with chants of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai," Annapurna Devi emphasized that the election is not just about selecting a representative but about shaping the future of Jharkhand.

She highlighted BJP’s platform of "Roti, Beti, and Maati" (food, daughters, and soil) protection, underscoring BJP’s commitment to issues vital to women.

Key initiatives announced included the Gogoi Didi scheme, which aims to economically empower women, as well as offering gas cylinders at Rs. 500 each, with two cylinders free each year.

Devi further promised free education from kindergarten through postgraduate levels for women, stating that BJP aims to reduce burdens on families and support long-term empowerment.

Calling for change, Annapurna Devi urged women to vote for Purnima Das, stressing, "Only a BJP-led government will ensure safety and dignity for women in Jharkhand."
