GARHWA – A 30-year-old woman was killed with an iron rod in a violent land dispute in Ramkanda, Garhwa district, leading to the arrest of four suspects.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning near Ramkanda police station, when a quarrel escalated between two families over a boundary fence. The victim, identified as Nagvanti Devi, was attacked by Manoj Bhuiyan and his relatives. The attackers first beat her and then fatally struck her with an iron rod.
Local police, led by station in-charge Surendra Singh Kuntiya, arrived at the scene and took the body for post-mortem to Garhwa. Authorities have detained four suspects and launched an investigation into the case.
