JAMSHEDPUR – Congress candidate Dr. Ajoy Kumar has accused Odisha Governor Raghubar Das of misusing his office to influence the upcoming elections.

During a press conference, Kumar alleged that Das has been holding secret meetings under the guise of festivals, with the aim of boosting his influence in Jamshedpur East, where his daughter-in-law is a candidate.

Kumar argued that this behavior compromises the neutrality expected from someone in Das’s position, stating, “If he has the courage, he should resign as Governor and contest the election openly.”

Kumar further warned that using public office for personal gains sets a dangerous precedent. He criticized Das for allegedly organizing political gatherings disguised as social events, such as festival celebrations.
