GARHWA – Chief Minister Hemant Soren has accused central agencies of acting as political tools for the BJP while addressing a public gathering in Garhwa.

During a nomination event for Minister Mithilesh Thakur, Soren made bold claims about the functioning of investigative agencies.

The Chief Minister alleged that the Enforcement Directorate and Central Bureau of Investigation were operating as political instruments for the Bharatiya Janata Party.

He suggested that members of his party were facing threats from these agencies.

Despite these challenges, Soren expressed confidence in the support of Garhwa’s residents for the upcoming elections.

He predicted a resounding victory that would potentially result in opposition candidates losing their security deposits.

The Chief Minister highlighted the historic nature of his government’s tenure in Jharkhand.

He pointed out that it was poised to complete a full five-year term for the first time in the state’s history.

Soren voiced concerns about the central government’s alleged misuse of constitutional institutions.

He claimed these bodies were being manipulated to suppress voices critical of the BJP.

The Chief Minister took aim at the opposition’s strategies, accusing them of attempting to create divisions among the populace.

He also questioned the unfulfilled promises made by the previous government, including those related to farmers’ income.

Soren took the opportunity to showcase his government’s accomplishments in Garhwa district.

He mentioned initiatives such as waiving farmer loans up to ₹2 lakh and improving access to electricity and water.

The Chief Minister also highlighted advancements in education and road infrastructure within the region.

Additionally, Soren outlined recent welfare measures, including the provision of free electricity to underprivileged households.

He announced plans to provide financial assistance to women starting from December.

In a defiant tone, the Chief Minister asserted that he would not be cowed by threats from central agencies.
