East Singhbhum to Hold Nominations from Oct 18, Six Seats Up for Grabs

JAMSHEDPUR – The Election Commission has declared a two-phase assembly election for Jharkhand, with voting scheduled for November 13 and 20.
The Model Code of Conduct has been implemented across Jharkhand.
Moreover, the counting of votes will take place on November 23.
In East Singhbhum district, nominations for six assembly seats will commence on October 18.
The last date for filing nominations is October 25.
Furthermore, scrutiny of nominations will be completed by October 28.
The final date for withdrawal of candidature is set for October 30.
East Singhbhum district has a total of 1,873,589 registered voters.
This includes 933,684 male voters and 939,742 female voters.
Additionally, there are 163 registered third-gender voters in the district.
District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal shared these details during a press briefing.
"The district administration is fully prepared to conduct fair elections," stated a knowledgeable source.
On the other hand, the official emphasized that the entire electoral process would adhere strictly to Election Commission guidelines and regulations.
