Police Nab Key Suspect in JEMCO Shooting Case

JAMSHEDPUR – Police have made a significant breakthrough in the JEMCO Mishra Garden shooting case with the arrest of the prime suspect.

A Pathak, the main accused, was apprehended in Siwan along with his associate Sonu.

The arrest led to the recovery of the weapon used in the crime.

Both suspects were brought to Jamshedpur on Wednesday night under transit remand.

Investigators uncovered that the shooting was orchestrated under Prakash Mishra’s instructions.

P Mishra is currently in custody at Rinpas, Ranchi.

A raid on P Mishra’s prisoner ward yielded crucial evidence.

Authorities found a diary and mobile phone that provided important leads.

Meanwhile, another accused, R Yadav, was previously jailed in connection with the case.

R Yadav was found in possession of a country-made pistol and live ammunition.

The shooting incident occurred on August 16 at JEMCO Mishra Garden, Telco.

Bike-borne assailants opened fire, injuring M Mishra’s friend, Suraj Yadav.

Following the attack, an FIR was filed against A Pathak, R Yadav, and others.

The police are continuing their investigation into the case.

A local resident remarked, "The community feels safer knowing the police are making progress in solving this crime."
