JAMSHEDPUR – The seven-day Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagna at New Green City in Baliguma, Jamshedpur, concluded with great fervor.
On the final evening, renowned orator Pandit Anurag Krishna Maharaj from Vrindavan captivated thousands of devotees with soulful Radha-Krishna bhajans, immersing them in devotion.
The event saw a large turnout, with both men and women participating in the spiritual gathering.
The event was organized by a local committee led by Chairman Neel Kamal, who stated that this was the first year of the Katha at this location and that it will now be held annually.
"The Katha is organized to pray for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the area’s residents," Kamal said, adding that the spiritual teachings also aim to instill a sense of dedication to religion and culture in the younger generation.
The event organizers emphasized that listening to the Bhagavad Katha not only imparts knowledge but also awakens a deep connection to cultural and religious values among the youth.
