JAMSHEDPUR – The Dobo Bridge will be completely closed to vehicular traffic on Tuesday, September 10, due to a scheduled visit by the Chief Minister.
The Seraikela District Transport Officer has issued a no-entry order for the bridge.
This decision comes as thousands of workers are expected to use the route for the Chief Minister’s program.
All types of vehicles, both large and small, are prohibited from crossing the bridge during the specified hours.
The traffic restriction will be in effect from 8 AM to 7 PM on Tuesday.
Rajesh Kumar Singh, Traffic In-charge of Seraikela-Kharsawan district, made this announcement.
Travelers heading to Chandil are advised to use an alternative route during the closure.
The recommended detour is the Pudisili route via Mango Pardih Kali Mandir.
This temporary measure aims to ensure smooth proceedings for the Chief Minister’s visit.
The closure may cause inconvenience to regular commuters and local residents.
However, the authorities deemed it necessary for the security and management of the event.
Motorists are urged to plan their journeys accordingly to avoid delays.

Local businesses near the bridge might experience reduced foot traffic during these hours.
Residents are encouraged to stay informed about any updates or changes to the closure schedule.
Emergency services will likely have special provisions to access the area if needed.
Normal traffic flow is expected to resume after 7 PM on Tuesday, September 10.
