KHARSAWAN – Former Chief Minister Champai Soren visited Kharsawan on Wednesday, where he received a grand welcome from BJP leaders and workers.

Soren first paid homage to the martyrs of the Kharsawan firing incident at the Kharsawan Shaheed Vedi.

In his address, Champai Soren expressed his discontent with the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), stating, "I fought a long battle for the separate state of Jharkhand, but my efforts were not given due recognition by JMM."

He further explained his decision to join the BJP, saying, "I chose the path of BJP for the honor and dignity of Jharkhand because only BJP can ensure the comprehensive development of the state and protect the interests of the tribals and locals."
