JAMSHEDPUR – To mark World Breastfeeding Week, Jamshedpur Women’s University’s Home Science Department organized a slogan competition on the theme "Closing the Gap: Supporting Breastfeeding for All."
Forty students participated in the competition on the first day, showcasing their creativity and commitment to the cause.
On the second day of Breastfeeding Week, a poster competition on the same theme saw enthusiastic participation from students across various faculties of the university, who created informative and visually appealing posters.
The third day will feature an extempore speech competition, further engaging students in discussions about the importance of breastfeeding and how to support it effectively.
These activities aim to raise awareness about breastfeeding and encourage support for it within the community.
The university’s initiative highlights the critical role of education in promoting health and well-being.
