AJSU Delegation Submits Memorandum to JNAC

Representatives highlight waterlogging issues in Jugsalai and other areas.

An AJSU delegation led by Kanhaiya Singh submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Municipal Commissioner of JNAC. The delegation addressed severe waterlogging issues in the Jugsalai constituency due to clogged drainage systems.

JAMSHEDPUR – An AJSU delegation led by Kanhaiya Singh submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Municipal Commissioner of JNAC.

Kanhaiya Singh highlighted that even light rain results in severe waterlogging in Jugsalai due to garbage-clogged drains.

He mentioned the dilapidated state of drainage systems in the area.

Singh pointed out the recent issue at Parvati Ghat Basti, where residents, especially children and elderly women, face life-threatening conditions due to water entering homes during rains.

The stagnant water leads to severe diseases, posing a constant threat to life and property.

Singh blamed Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi for neglecting the constituency’s issues and using residents only for votes.

Other areas like Ghorabandha and Govindpur are also facing similar waterlogging issues, making life difficult for residents.

Singh stated that the legislators are indifferent to these problems.

Municipal Commissioner Krishna Kumar assured that he would soon visit the affected areas and take necessary steps to resolve the issues.

The delegation included district president Kanhaiya Singh, Appu Tiwari, Lalan Jha, Arup Mallik, Tanveer Alam alias Raju, Raja, Muna Khan, Gudiya Devi, Sapna Devi, Lakshmi Devi, Seema Gupta, Dipali Mahato, Fatiya Khatun, Jyotsna Lohar, Durga Kalindi, Asha Lohar, and others.
