JAMSHEDPUR – A commemorative event at Ram Mandir auditorium in Telco marked the 25th anniversary of India’s triumph in the Kargil War, featuring honorings and patriotic performances.

The Silver Jubilee celebration of Kargil Vijay Diwas, organized by the Purv Sainik Seva Parishad, brought together war heroes, dignitaries, and community members to pay homage to the valor of Indian soldiers.

Air Vice Marshal HP Singh, a decorated veteran, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the war’s lasting inspiration for future generations.

Colonel Akhouri Ranjan Sinha highlighted the challenges overcome by Indian forces during the conflict.

The event saw the honoring of 30 Kargil War heroes and their families with shawls and mementos.

Patriotic performances, including dances and dramas, captivated the audience, celebrating the spirit of the soldiers.

Kargil War veteran Manik Vardha shared firsthand accounts of the conflict, bringing the battlefield experiences to life.

Various social organizations showed their support, underscoring the community’s united respect for the nation’s heroes.

The ceremony began with a lamp-lighting ritual, symbolizing the enduring flame of patriotism.

Colonel Rajesh Gupta commended the sacrifices made by soldiers in reclaiming strategic positions during the war.
