A violent incident occurred near Nirmal Nagar TOP in the Sonari police station area on Friday, stemming from a longstanding feud between two youths.
JAMSHEDPUR – A serious altercation near Nirmal Nagar TOP in Sonari led to an attack with a sharp weapon on Friday, resulting in injuries to Vinay Bagti, who required treatment at MGM Hospital.
The altercation escalated when R Karmakar allegedly attacked Vinay Bagti, causing wounds to his back and near his right eye.
Vinay recounted that he was returning home on his bike when Rahul approached him, leading to a heated argument that quickly turned violent.
The incident reportedly followed a month-long tension between the two, involving previous disputes with Rahul and his associates.
Vinay’s injuries necessitated immediate medical attention.
The police have launched an investigation to understand the circumstances and take appropriate action.
"Tensions had been building up for a while, and unfortunately, it culminated in this violent act," a police official stated.
