In a significant move to bolster healthcare access, Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren has announced a groundbreaking health insurance scheme set to launch next month.

The initiative promises free medical coverage up to Rs 15 lakh for ration card holders who are not currently benefiting from the Central government’s Ayushman Bharat scheme.

Plans include providing 40,000 government jobs within the next three months.

A campaign to secure jobs for local youth in private companies is also in the works.

Financial assistance under the Chief Minister Employment Creation Scheme will support those interested in self-employment.

Education and Welfare Measures

The government is committed to establishing model schools in blocks to provide quality education.

An upcoming policy will address the welfare of displaced communities, a persistent challenge in the state.

Agricultural support includes loan waivers up to Rs 2 lakh for farmers.

Underprivileged residents in remote areas will benefit from 200 units of free electricity.

Women aged 25-50 years will receive financial assistance as part of women’s empowerment initiatives.

Addressing Displacement Challenges
