JAMSHEDPUR – Dhanbad police raided a rented house in Dimna Basti on Friday afternoon, seizing cash and jewellery.

During the raid at Hayat Nagar Dimna Basti, the Dhanbad police discovered ₹1.25 lakh and some jewellery.

The house was rented by a woman, who was present during the raid.

Woman’s brothers-in-law, Naseem and Saddan, accused in multiple theft cases, were also brought by the police.

The raid occurred in the house of Naeem, where Shaba was renting a room.

The police found Shaba in one room, while the other two rooms were locked.

Upon searching, the police recovered the jewellery and cash from the locked rooms.

The Dhanbad police seized the money and jewellery and took them into custody.

The raid highlights ongoing efforts to crack down on theft and recover stolen goods.

The incident has brought attention to the activities in Hayat Nagar Dimna Basti under the Ulidih police station.

Further investigations are likely as the police scrutinize the seized items and the accused.
