BJP Ensures Vigilance at Strong Room with Round-the-Clock Monitoring
After the voting for the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat on May 25, the fate of the candidates has been secured in the EVMs, with the vote count scheduled for June 4.
JAMSHEDPUR – Following the voting on May 25, the EVMs from six assembly constituencies under the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat have been stored in the strong room at Jamshedpur Co-operative College, under the watchful eyes of the central forces.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jamshedpur Mahanagar has also assigned its workers to monitor the EVMs around the clock.
BJP workers, along with senior leaders, are keeping a close watch on the strong room by staying in a tent set up in the Co-operative College grounds, braving the scorching heat.
The district administration has installed CCTV cameras to ensure the security of the strong room, with the footage being monitored by BJP workers through screens installed in a nearby building.
This surveillance aims to safeguard the votes cast for MP and candidate Vidyut Baran Mahto.
To ensure continuous vigilance, BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar has designated workers from different Mandals to monitor the EVMs on specific days.
On Thursday, Jamshedpur Lok Sabha Convenor and BJP State Minister Nandji Prasad, along with BJP Jamshedpur Metropolitan President Sudhanshu Ojha and district officials, inspected the monitoring camp at Jamshedpur Co-operative College grounds.
They discussed with the Mandal Presidents and workers deployed for EVM monitoring, ensuring that all necessary amenities like chairs, coolers, and fans were provided in the tent.
BJP District President Sudhanshu Ojha expressed confidence in MP Vidyut Mahato’s victory for a third term, attributing it to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies and Mahato’s decade-long dedicated service leading to unprecedented development in Jamshedpur.
Ojha assured that with the support of Jamshedpur’s enlightened citizens and the relentless efforts of BJP workers, Vidyut Mahato would win by a larger margin than before and head to Delhi.
BJP workers were seen diligently monitoring the EVMs while also discussing future election strategies with enthusiasm.
Present at the monitoring camp were District Vice President Sanjeev Singh, General Secretary Anil Modi, Rakesh Singh, Mango Mandal President Binod Rai, Sushil Pandey, Alauddin Siddiqui, Lucky Singh Rajput, Subodh Jha, and many other workers.
